Attendee Comments:
  • Back to work from TBCON, I'm spending my time applying the learnings to my ongoing projects.Success is in details, and after so many years of experience with ToolBook is at TBCON that I learn the small details that make the difference. I can't stop being amazed with the environment of openness, collaboration, knowledge sharing that I always encounter at TBCONs with no parallel in other events. Of course it is all about the generosity of the tbookers that we meet, but something needs to be said about how Jeffrey and his family prepares the stage and the collaboration atmosphere.  (2009)
  • Each time I attend, I learn many techniques that I will use in my future lessons. It has always been an incredible value.  (2009)
  • I thoroughly enjoyed the conference. I made some good contacts and was very impressed by the cooperation exhibited by attendees, both individuals and vendors. It's quite a refreshing change from some experiences in the past.  (2008)
  • My favorite part was the direct communication with so many SumTotal folks.  (2008)
  • Jeff - many thanks for organizing this great event!  (2007)
  • I really enjoyed my time at the conference. So much information and not enough time.  (2007)
  • This always increases my productivity.  (2006)
  • Evening activities were great for entertainment and meeting new people. Sessions (and getting the archive files) will be of great value going forward w/ projects.  (2005)
  • Excellent conference, great people, a little bit for everyone--beginners to advanced.  (2004)
  • It kind of reminds me of something Johnny Carson used to do with the "Amazing Karnack" where he would hold the envelope up to his head and name the content inside based on some clue written on the outside. In this case I could envision the outside saying "Sex and Platte Canyon' s ToolBook Conference". The inside would say "name two great experiences you have to personally be a player in order to appreciate". Words do not describe the value and rewards from attending this conference. I continue to tell my management that if there is only one thing we get to attend due to budgetary issues I want it to be this conference.  (2001)
