ToolBook User's Conference / e-Learning Authoring Conference Attendee Comments

If you haven't been to a ToolBook User's Conference, you need to go. It will give you plenty of ideas and you'll have fun too.  (2008)

You and your staff produce a wonderful conference. Everyone is so approachable and friendly with the conference enjoyable and knowledgeable!!  (2007)

We've taken every available opportunity to point out to management the benefits of our attendance last year - a day doesn't go by that we are not glad we went!  (2007)

Will pay for itself in NO time!  (2007)

Jeff - many thanks for organizing this great event!  (2007)

Great location -- I love the access to downtown Colorado Springs.  (2007)

Beautiful campus.  (2007)

The conference was 5++ (out of 5).  (2007)

My favorite part was the opportunity to meet and talk w/ Dan Carr and gain insight into not only using Flash, but the architecture of the components of Flash.  (2007)

The willingness of all presenters and other participants to show and share so much of their knowledge is great. Special thanks to Jeff, Sue, and their family for putting on another great conference. Your dedication to this conference and the TB family is inspiring.  (2007)

Colorado Springs--and the college--is a great location.  (2007)

My favorite parts were 1) the people and getting to know how other people utilize ToolBook and 2) how the instructors and staff were willing to share.  (2007)

This was great for the beginner, intermediate, and advanced developers.  (2007)

Potential of time saved by new ways learned is big.  (2007)

It was great! How about more? My problem was that I wished I were at least 3 people to attend all of the great presentations at the same time.  (2007)

I couldn't have thought of or picked a better place.  (2007)

Colorado Springs is a beautiful location.  (2007)

The community of developers attracted to this conference is among the most talented and helpful groups I've ever encountered.  (2007)

The conference pays for itself in one day.  (2007)

My favorite part was the opportunity to meet and chat with other developers to see how they have solved their problems.  (2007)

The food was absolutely the best!  (2007)

Great value - a unique opportunity for "one-stop" learning.  (2007)

My favorite part was the preconference workshops - 4 hour sessions were great!  (2007)

Receptions were great!  (2007)

This is my 6th conference and I hope that I make at least a couple of more before I retire. This is the BEST place to pick up tips and tricks. You guys do a great job. Thank you!  (2007)

I really enjoy the whole program. I always do at least 2 preconference sessions and maybe all but one or two sessions Monday and Tuesday.  (2007)

Jeff: that was a GREAT ToolBook conference!  (2007)

What a Great Time I had at TBCON. The degree of professionalism demonstrated by the entire staff was awesome and it was a pleasure seeing the masters at work.  (2007)

We really enjoyed the TBCON and learned a lot that we are applying already.  (2007)

I really enjoyed my time at the conference. So much information and not enough time.  (2007)

Congratulations on a fantastic conference!! I agree completely with your assessment that the Flash developers were just as jazzed as the ToolBookers  (2007)

TBCON is a great investment and time well spent!  (2007)

I just cannot thank you, your family, and other associates for hosting and managing one of the best conferences I have ever been to. I am so happy I attended. The pre-conference workshops and seminars were extremely beneficial for me.  (2007)

TBCON was a terrific experience – the location, the sessions, the fun, the ambiance – loved just everything about it!  (2007)

This year's TBCON was excellent. It was very productive for our team. You do a great job with this conference. A good balance between learning new things, connecting with peers, interfacing with SumTotal personnel, and discovering potential partners and future customers.  (2007)

Just wanted to drop a quick note to let you know how much I liked your conference. It was wonderful and I hope I can be there again in 2008.  (2007)

Another great conference! What more can I say?  (2007)

That was a terrific conference. I learned a lot and met some interesting people.  (2007)

Stayed in CC Inn. Very nice!  (2006)

Paid for itself in one session.  (2006)

Great location!  (2006)

The preconference workshops were very important. Seeing that I am new to ToolBook, it helped me get the basics. Without it, I would have been lost thoughout the rest.  (2006)

The value outweighed the price. You could have doubled the price and it still would not outweigh the value.  (2006)

The preconference workshops were the best part. They actually gave you the time to get a more in-depth perspective on some of the applications.  (2006)

Loved the food.  (2006)

This was my first conference and I was very impressed with what I saw. It was an information overload, but I plan on being here next year and every year after that.  (2006)

It was information overload--a good thing. I just wish I could be in two or more places at once.  (2006)

Colorado Springs is perfect--not too big, easily navigated, easy to get to. Good scenery. Keep the conference here!  (2006)

I attended the 2-day preconference and got a lot out of the 4-hour sessions.  (2006)

It's a deal, if not a steal!  (2006)

Cafeteria - courteous, good food. Our dinners were awesome.  (2006)

The apartment is my home away from home.  (2006)

Excellent as always!  (2006)

Exceeded my expectations.  (2006)

This always increases my productivity.  (2006)

I really enjoyed the expanded scope.  (2006)

This the best value in the industry.  (2006)

My favorite part was the evening receptions. Very fun.  (2006)

Still the best place to come to jump-start your e-Learning program.  (2006)

Very well organized; great staff and presenters.  (2006)

I stayed at the CC Inn. Nice single rooms, everything you need and just a short walk from everything.  (2006)

The food was excellent! First reception dinner was awesome! Dining facility was terrific as well. And food offered during the break ?? I ate wayyy too much!!  (2006)

Very good bargain.  (2006)

Preconference workshops were the best!  (2006)

Sessions and preconference sessions were the best part.  (2006)

I stayed at CC Inn. Very nice.  (2006)

Perfect location due to weather and the casual atmosphere of the campus.  (2006)

It is just a great learning experience.  (2006)

Worth every penny.  (2006)

Keep up the great work!  (2006)

I really liked the additional tracks.  (2006)

The info and tools I got here saved me more than the conference costs.  (2006)

I really appreciate the vegetarian selections.  (2006)

The presenters are very knowledgeable.  (2006)

Great job as usual.  (2006)

The best was networking, meeting other users, and sharing ideas.  (2006)

This is the BEST Bang for the Buck ANYWHERE!  (2006)

Biggest bang for the buck ever!  (2006)

My favorite part was the camaraderie and interacting with the faculty and participants. Like a big, cohesive family.  (2006)

Very beautiful campus.  (2006)

Best and most productive conference I've ever been to!  (2006)

The best part was the preconference sessions.  (2006)

The best part was the chance to ask the experts and see SumTotal there.  (2006)

The balance was very good. Sessions were also scheduled well. I could attend most of the sessions I wanted to.  (2006)

I learned enough just about SCORM to make it well worth the trip.  (2006)

This conference had the best social atmosphere of any I have attended. Everyone was helpful.  (2006)

Great variety of topics and knowledgeable presenters.  (2006)

Food was good and abundant.  (2006)

Dining, classrooms, social areas were all very good. Accommodations were also formidable for a college dorm.  (2006)

Best dorm food I've ever had.  (2006)

Excellent facilities. I work in a training center at UK colleges. This facility is much better.  (2006)

Well organized, controlled, and resourced. In short, very slickly delivered with good speakers.  (2006)

Beautiful setting.  (2006)

I came for the management line for self development and to have access to specialists in the other fields. This worked very well.  (2006)

Excellent value for the money.  (2006)

Best yet!  (2006)

Excellent value!  (2006)

The management track was a good new initiative.  (2006)

The conference was great! I learned a lot and have already tried some new things. Hope to be back next year.  (2006)

I have to say you can tell you folks put in a lot of effort making the conference a success. Thank you for all you did. I really enjoyed it and hope to return.  (2006)

Best conference I have ever been to!  (2006)

Thanks for another fabulous conference. I hope to see you again next year.  (2006)

Brilliant conference. Had a great time, learnt lots, brain now hurts!!!!  (2006)

I want you to know that I had a great time at TBCON and will highly recommend it to anyone I meet who is interested. You guys put together a fun and informative TB summer camp.  (2006)

Thank you for the great experience at TBCON. As a first time attendee, I was impressed with everyone's generous sharing of ideas, examples, and tips in such a friendly and casual atmosphere. As a moderate ToolBook user, I picked up several ideas applicable to my work. As a total Flash newbie, I feel like I got a grasp of the basics in a very short period of time, and I am inspired to try some Flash development.  (2006)

It was another WONDERFULLY BENEFICIAL TBCON! Great Job!  (2006)

Great! I’m really looking forward to it, especially all the new Flash development and other courses.  (2006)

You guys are great - I am very excited to see the expansion of TBCON to include e-learning. The work that I just recently completed with Articulate, Camtasia and Flash has been phenomenal. These types of tools definitely need to be in the arsenal.  (2005)

Every day I come to appreciate TBCON more. I'm soooo glad that I went. Just to be able to understand the actions editor has been wonderful. I would never have even attempted to use it before TBCON. It seemed so far above my head.  (2005)

Great food!  (2005)

Very good! Enjoyed the low-key, personable atmosphere. Very conducive to learning with the small sessions. Excellent networking and problem-solving atmosphere!  (2005)

Facilities were decent. Very clean and comfortable. Everything was fairly close together so there wasn't a lot of trekking across campus.  (2005)

Cafeteria food was good. Food during dinner activities was excellent. Very good!  (2005)

Good location. Easy access from airports and plenty to do and see. Town was easy to get around for those not staying in dorms.  (2005)

Topics were good and varied. I think the true value of some of the sessions will be when we return home and look at the archive files and attempt to apply the knowledge to our projects.  (2005)

Evening activities were great for entertainment and meeting new people. Sessions (and getting the archive files) will be of great value going forward w/ projects.  (2005)

Very nice campus. Good location for a conference.  (2005)

Cafeteria was good. Catered meals were excellent!  (2005)

Excellent value for the money!  (2005)

I had a great time. Thanks for a wonderful experience!  (2005)

Worth every penny.  (2005)

I really enjoyed the pre-conference sessions.  (2005)

The conference is cheap considering the benefit gained.  (2005)

Learning about .NET was my favorite part.  (2005)

New or seasoned, if you leave this conference w/out learning something you didn't know, you are either a ToolBook god or you weren't paying attention!!  (2005)

Great facilities! The layout of the campus/facilities is excellent for the conference and its offerings!  (2005)

Good dining atmosphere; very accessible and ample space to visit w/ other conference members while dining.  (2005)

Gorgeous location!! Not only beautiful, but seemed to be fairly central for the origins of the attendees.  (2005)

The conference paid for itself before the Preconference Sessions were even over. Loved the hands-on!  (2005)

Great! Personal attention by presenters and relatives of presenters (Chis Bell's mom was a great help to me) made me feel welcome and my business appreciated.  (2005)

Snacks in Armstrong were well chosen. Liked the frozen ice cream bars.  (2005)

Loved the location. C/Springs is beautiful with many natural attractions.  (2005)

My favorite part was the sharing attitude of the presenters. All were very helpful.  (2005)

I received many tools for shortcuts that will decrease my development time!  (2005)

The best was getting to know other developers and discuss our different techniques!  (2005)

Sessions were very good and the info was excellent.  (2005)

Excellent value--I always learn more than my brain can hold. I look forward to the archive info.  (2005)

Whether you are a novice or advanced developer, this conference has something for everyone. All presenters (and attendees) are more than willing to help you and share their experiences. There's no other conference like it.  (2005)

Monday and Tuesday night dinners were great! Thanks!  (2005)

As a beginner, I definitely benefitted from the preconference sessions.  (2005)

Presentations, organization, receptions couldn't have been better!  (2005)

Beautiful setting!  (2005)

Preconference sessions were the best part!  (2005)

The presenters were extremely knowledgeable.  (2005)

This was a small price to pay that will result in major savings on current and future development projects.  (2005)

My favorite part was the atmosphere and being able to talk and have discussions with the TBK experts and SumTotal Systems staff.  (2005)

Excellent. Great sessionsl Learned a lot of new things.  (2005)

Very nice campus. Good location for a conference.  (2005)

College campus was nice. Colorado Springs weather was fabulous.  (2005)

Everything was great! Good job!  (2005)

Excellent value for the money.  (2005)

This is the only conference I have ever attended that is not primarily a sales pitch. Great job!  (2005)

Outstanding. Will greatly increase my efficiency of development.  (2005)

Classrooms were comfortable. I liked the easy (no car needed) access to everything.  (2005)

Great value. Especially considering the online archive availability.  (2005)

Excellent. Great sessions. Learned a lot of new things.  (2005)

Extremely valuable!  (2004)

I like the on the spot approach.  (2004)

Answered all my questions!  (2004)

You guys were great. Seriously would love to take a beginners course from either of you!  (2004)

Very helpful. Great individual attention.  (2004)

Very knowledgeable instructors, and a hell of a good time!  (2004)

I enjoyed EVERYTHING--the food, karaoke, the food, Hack Ack, the food . . .but I got the most out of the sessions.  (2004)

Excellent conference, great people, a little bit for everyone--beginners to advanced.  (2004)

I'm a novice and felt that, even in the sessions that were more advanced, I got one or two things I could use.  (2004)

As always, this is the best event of the year.  (2004)

Always an excellent value. That's why we bring the whole team.  (2004)

I have the best time with the friendly instructors and exchanges--especially Chris, Jeff, and SumTotal experts. So many good sessions, hard choices to make.  (2004)

Very helpful, friendly desk staff. Great for a first-timer.  (2004)

Loads of ammo for changes at work. Two sessions will pay for the trip.  (2004)

The new apartments were great. Better than expected.  (2004)

Well organized. Excellent presenters w/ good and valuable information.  (2004)

All instructors and presenters were extremely knowledgeable.  (2004)

Much different than a 'typical' conference. People freely sharing ideas, tips, and actual ToolBook/OpenScript/etc. files! Exactly what I was hoping for. Well done!  (2004)

It was a really good conference. I enjoyed it a lot, it was probably the BEST TBCON that I been to so far!  (2004)

Wish I had started a couple of years ago. From each of just two classes, I found out how I could save enough time and money in my product development to more than pay for the cost of the conference.  (2004)

Actually, I learned so much that I can't possibly type it all in an email! And the conversations that go on while you're there can never be recapped the same way.  (2004)

If your personal happiness or professional success revolves around your proficiency in using ToolBook, then you owe it to yourself to attend this conference. If you are just starting the adventure, you can stem the learning curve by years in just a few days. For the more experienced user, a conversation with Tim, Michael, Charley or Denny on anything related to the product will open new avenues for efficient methodology, process, and understanding. As conferences go you can't match the $$ value.  (2004)

The Help Desk was absolutely invaluable to me!  (2003)

Terrific value! Worth every penny.  (2003)

Preconference sessions were the best. I enjoyed the level of detail.  (2003)

Another super conference!!  (2003)

Fabulous VBTrain topics!  (2003)

The number of sessions was great. Good opportunity to attend variety of sessions.  (2003)

This was my first conference and it was great! I will definitely attend future conferences. I'm amazed at how much I've learned in just three days!  (2003)

Thanks for helping me with the VBTrain material and arranged an practical and exciting event like this.  (2003)

This is just a short "Thank You" to everyone that was at TBCON this year. This was my first experience, and it was GREAT! I learned a lot and got a lot of great ideas. I dealt with some concepts that have been really hard for me to grasp, but was explained them in a manner that I could understand. Not to mention all the info on VBTrain and the .Net stuff. On that note, this is to anyone that has never been to TBCON, "GO"! Not only is it a good time, but a excellent learning forum. Do what ever it takes to make it to the conference next year, beg the boss, scrounge up the change for travel and expenses, whatever it takes, it will be worth it.  (2003)

TBCON is a great experience. Start saving now for next year. You would easily recover your costs for the conference in what you learn and can apply immediately when you get back to your job.  (2003)

Unsolicited Comment: The Platte Canyon folks put on a terrific conference! It's well organized and packed with extremely useful information!  (2003)

Personally, TBCON accelerates my knowledge and ability to efficiently use ToolBook by at least six months each year I have attended. I find it a very easy investment to cost-justify. And, on top of that, it is a lot of FUN!  (2003)

I had a great time, accommodations were surprisingly comfortable (Loomis Hall), food was out of this world, and of course the sessions themselves were A number 1! My Hats off to the entire team.  (2002)

The absolute best conference of the year!  (2002)

Great content at all learning levels; ability to tailor my learning experience is appreciated.  (2002)

Apartments are MUCH better than the dorms. Thanks for the upgrade!  (2002)

I'm out of adjectives -- thanks for another terrific conference!!  (2002)

It just keeps getting better!  (2002)

Excellent value. Get sooooo much more out of this than other conferences I have attended.  (2002)

I like the fact that most sessions were held twice. I was able to get to almost all that I thought would be beneficial.  (2002)

Very good mix of basic, intermediate, and advanced sessions from which to choose.  (2002)

In addition to material gained from sessions, the cross talk after hours was invaluable. Excellent for contacts too!  (2002)

Best conference I have attended since 1997. Actually, better than Asymetrix's old conference in Belview and LA.  (2002)

First of all, it was awesome...lots to do and some really great sessions!!! The socials were really really fun, the lodgings were better this year (at least for me anyway in those new apartments), and there was lots to be learned!  (2002)

I just wanted to thank you again for putting on such a great conference. You're really providing a service to all of us struggling developers. The facilities are great and the informal atmosphere builds a great sense of community.  (2002)

Thank you very much for hosting the ToolBook and VBTrain.Net conference - I had no idea how much I was truly missing by not attending. I'm so impressed by what I learned that I'll be sending other people from my office to attend as well - outstanding.  (2002)

I would highly recommend attending TBCON. My work colleagues and I have attended the past two TBCONs and feel that each year what we have learned at TBCON has accelerated our use and knowledge of ToolBook by at least 6 months. There are many sessions at TBCON that are good for beginners; but I would especially recommend the preconference workshops as they will enable you to get hands-on experience using ToolBook. Best of all, you will meet lots of people who will become valuable resources for you as you become more familiar with ToolBook.  (2002)

I wanting to take this opportunity to THANK YOU both for TBCON 2001. I learned so much! At one point about a month ago, I was working in TB and ran in to a situation using some canned widget and just could not get it to work correctly. Within about 10 minutes, I had a script that did the same thing only better! My apps are much more efficient to the end user as well. My boss looked at my latest work and immediately asked ... "Did you learn this at the conference?"  (2001)

I had to spend 6 hours in different airports during my trip home to Denmark, but I used the time to made myself a handy utility tool for automatically setting fonts, converting pictures to Paint Objects, lock fields and a lot more activities I used to spend hours on. So thanks you for your inspiration. I hope to have the possibility to participate in future ToolBook conferences.  (2001)

I must say that the TBCOM in Colorado Springs really exceeded my expectations. I had a great time meeting everyone at every social event (formal and not-so-formal). I really do appreciate everyone's hospitality. I feel as though I am part of "the family" now. The people were great, the events were great, the knowledge was endless, the location was beautiful, well organized (kudos to the Platte Canyon crew), SumTotal's presence was very much appreciated, and the sessions were very informative. Who could ask for anything more from a conference?  (2001)

It kind of reminds me of something Johnny Carson used to do with the "Amazing Karnack" where he would hold the envelope up to his head and name the content inside based on some clue written on the outside. In this case I could envision the outside saying "Sex and Platte Canyon' s ToolBook Conference". The inside would say "name two great experiences you have to personally be a player in order to appreciate". Words do not describe the value and rewards from attending this conference. I continue to tell my management that if there is only one thing we get to attend due to budgetary issues I want it to be this conference.  (2001)

The conference was so beneficial that one of our team members paid for everything out of their pocket because our company said conferences aren't helpful. That person is planning on writing a letter explaining the experience and the information and knowledge gained by attending this "unexplainable" mind-blowing conference.  (2001)

Just want to say again how much I appreciate Platte Canyon and this conference. It's obvious that you enjoy hosting this event and I appreciate the fact that you do it for us. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!  (2001)

The presenters were all awesome. Especially enjoyed Chris, Jeff, and Mauro.  (2001)

Once again, you have provided the best conference of the year for me. In three days, I got a year's worth of knowledge.  (2001)

Best run/most valuable conference I've ever attended.  (2001)

The preconference hands-on workshops were the best!  (2001)

Excellent - most well run, informative conference I've attended.  (2001)

The best value of any conference I've been to.  (2001)

This has been by far the most valuable conference I have ever attended.  (2001)

The format of offering several opportunities to go to a session was excellent.  (2001)

It is an excellent value! Even if I had left after the 1st day of the preconference, I would have gotten my money's worth!  (2001)

Amazing food selection, good quality. Even the coffee was good, unlike most conferences.  (2001)

I just wanted to say... You guys are so cool! The world (and ToolBook) would be a poorer place without you! -- Tim Barham, SumTotal Systems  (2001)

I went for the first time last year as a new person to TB. It's hard to describe the learning atmosphere at the conference. It's not all work though. After a long, hard 8 hour day in classes, some great entertainment, food, and various liquid refreshments are available. Sometimes, the entertainment is continued in the dorm area where great renditions of Australian songs (complete with authentic accents) are presented free of charge. So, my recommendation: go to Colorado Springs this summer and be prepared for a great experience.  (2001)

As a totally objective observer, TBCON rocks! It's where the developers go to learn rather than some of the conferences that are intended to sell product. In most sessions, you'll learn new, real-world, hands-on stuff, rather than being bombarded with marketing stuff. Jeff and Chris have done a wonderful job of taking over the real-world, hands-on education for ToolBook developers.  (2001)

Most of all, TBCON is a serious, focused three days with no frills. Lots of seminars, no vendors and expositions, long winded speeches, or tons of extra-curricular activity. Therefore, the money spent on the conference and getting there goes totally to your development and nothing else. I think it's the best bargain for the money.  (2001)

I have only been to one worthwhile conference in the past five years (and I go to 5 to 6 a year as attendee, exhibitor, and speaker only because I have to for our business) and you know which conference that is! All meat, no fluff and smart presenters and attendees. I am telling you, I could be the poster child for your next conference! Our latest project has improved an order of magnitude over what it would have been without the conference.  (2000)

TBCON was the most worthwhile conference I have been to as there is so much for someone like me.  (2000)

Price was well worth the value. Biggest plus was being inspired about all the frontiers out there!  (2000)

Beautiful city and campus. Nice classroom facilities; convenient to have all sessions in one building, with cafeteria and dorm nearby.  (2000)

Great! I learned so much more than even last year!  (2000)

I just love the diversity of people here. It's amazing how we can all get along! It's not just about learning ToolBook, but also sharing ideas and experiences.  (2000)

Great value. With my company's budget constraints at this time, I could not have attended if normal rates were charged.  (2000)

This conference was by far the best conference I've been to. I took home a tremendous amount of information.  (2000)

College food sure has come a long way!  (2000)

At first I felt very inadequate in terms of my knowledge and where we are at with ToolBook, but now I realized that with this conference, we will be light-years ahead of where we are today when we come to the conference next year.  (2000)

The generosity of the presenters to share code, ideas, etc was SO impressive.  (2000)

Excellent! More bang for the buck than expected.  (2000)

Excellent (cheap at twice the price).  (2000)

We learned tips and tricks that will pay for our trip almost immediately.  (2000)

Great! Very high quality sessions. Very cutting edge, up-to-date material.  (2000)

It's great that all of theses presenters share their material. It's much easier to get started and further ahead with this help.  (2000)

Value is EXCELLENT! Please try to maintain the low-key, high-value conference.  (2000)

Super value for the money! The best bargain around! Just what I want to know!  (2000)

Best value in a conference I have experienced. Excellent learning and networking experience.  (2000)

The help desk was the best part. Solved some "hot, burning" issues I had.  (2000)

Preconference was excellent. I learned so much.  (2000)

Probably the only conference where I learned things in all the sessions I attended.  (2000)

The value for the price was awesome. There is a ton of useful info here just readily available.  (2000)

The preconference workshop was invaluable!  (2000)

Better than cafeteria food from my college days!  (2000)

There was a good mix of sessions for the beginner as well as the more advanced person.  (2000)

The conference was great, the hospitality fantastic and the entertainment awesome.  (2000)

You certainly assembled a great team of presenters. My only problem was deciding on what stream to attend as every presentation was right on the button.  (2000)

You guys have done a stunning job of the preparations for this. It puts all the other conferences I've ever been to to shame!  (2000)

By the way, Chris and Jeff, my thanks for the excellent preconference workshop. It was very useful, and I feel I learned a lot that I can use for a long time. (My students thank you, too.)  (1999)

It was very worthwhile, with much to digest and implement. I look forward to next year's conference, and hopefully more people from our organization will be able to attend and benefit directly.  (1999)

TBCON was the best I have been to in several years. Cheers to Jeff, Chris, and all the Platte Canyon gang for a great conference.  (1999)

The conference was great! It was nice being among other TBK developers and swapping stories and experiences.  (1999)

A sincere thank you to Jeff Rhodes and the gang at Platte Canyon, including Chris Bell's Mom, for sponsoring a first class conference. It is now and in the years to come THE conference to attend specifically for developers.  (1999)

The conference lived up to everything it was advertised to be and more. While the regular conference was great, I really enjoyed the pre conference. Those who did not attend the preconference really missed seeing you guys in action and what you have to share. I have already incorporated a couple of the things I learned at the conference.  (1999)

It was incredibly valuable for me and I know that every attendee that I spoke with was impressed with the quality and professionalism of the conference. Pat yourselves on the back for a job very well done.  (1999)

I thought the conference was excellent! You guys put on a great show. Hopefully, I can convince the powers to be to attend/present next year! Thank you again for all the hard work and long hours you put in to make it a success!  (1999)

Great conference! How you guys pull it off with only 24 hrs in a day (and be able to play basketball) amazes me.  (1999)

Campus was beautiful - classrooms were plenty spacious for the most part.  (1999)

It was a great place to hold a conference. Inexpensive, yet very high quality!  (1999)

I appreciated the repetition of sessions. That enabled me to hit all the ones I wanted. The variety and number of topics were very good.  (1999)

The preconference was the most valuable as far as getting practical application tips and examples.  (1999)

Excellent conference. Very little fluff.  (1999)

An incredible value for the cost!  (1999)

Being a very novice user I appreciated being able to come and learn as much as I did. It was affordable, nicely located, and packed with information and not cluttered with sales pitches or vendors. It stayed focused on helping ToolBook users. Thanks!!  (1999)

Great job of keeping the price low. For the $, a much better deal than OLLO or ASTD/SALT in terms of getting the most bang for your buck.  (1999)

Excellent! Top value for money! Superb! And aimed and developers just right! Don't mess with success! Don't upscale!  (1999)

The way the meals were set up with the meal cards was a great idea. Worked well! The campus was a good location. Our manager was willing - even encouraged us to go because of the cost. Big selling factor.  (1999)

Not like the typical stuffy conference. Probably because there were no vendors trying to impress others with flashy exhibits.  (1999)

There is very little doubt that you guys have done a great job organizing this conference. The topics are on the money. You have done the ToolBook community a very real service.  (1999)
