Terms of Agreement

Multiple Session Policy
We have established the following guidelines due to the unique presentation schedule of The ToolBook User's Conference / e-Learning Conference:

Each faculty member must submit at least two different session topics
Each session topic will typically be offered up to three times. For faculty members with more than two sessions accepted, those sessions will usually be repeated twice.
Faculty members with two sessions accepted will receive a free "off campus" conference registration, including meals. Meals will begin with dinner August 2 and will go through lunch August 5. You may apply the price of the off campus registration to one of the dormitory or apartment lodging options if you would like. You will be responsible for transportation expenses.
Faculty members with three or more sessions accepted will receive a free Apartment - Multiple, CC Inn, or Windom Hall Single registration. The free registration begins with Sunday night, August 2. Check out is Wednesday, August 5. These options also include all meals. You will be responsible for transportation expenses.

Additional Terms of Agreement

Please do not arrive on campus or check in prior to Sunday, August 2nd, unless you are participating in the preconference or have paid for additional lodging nights. Presenters are not allowed at the preconference sessions unless they are giving a session, are helping another faculty member giving a session, or have paid for preconference training. Note that faculty members may attend preconference training sessions for a 50% discount.

Sessions with single presenters have proven most successful in previous years. However, we will consider a limited number of sessions with copresenters. Copresenters will receive a 20% discount on the conference rate. Please provide copresenter information here:

Rather than receiving printed handouts, attendees will be able to download the materials from our web site very shortly after the conference. Your presentation materials (sample ToolBook/Flash/JavaScript/.NET/Silverlight files, outline, slides, etc.) must be made available to us via CD-ROM, flash drive, Zip disk, or web download before or during the conference. Please note any situations where the presentation materials cannot be released in the "Additional Information" area of this form. The files will be made available to conference attendees and may be sold to other interested parties following the conference.
Your session may be taped (video and/or audio). The tape may be sold to interested parties at the conference and afterwards. If your session is taped, you may request a complimentary copy.
As a faculty member, your information will be shared on the web-based "Archives for Attendees" application. This information will include Name, Company/Organization, Location, and Email Address. You may also be identified on photos included on the conference web site.
If your proposal is accepted, you will be asked to send a photograph of yourself for use in promotional and informational materials about the conference. The photo may appear in mailings, web sites, and advertisements.
Submitting this proposal is your commitment that you will attend the conference should your proposal be accepted. Cancellation for reasons other than a true emergency will likely mean that future faculty proposals will be not be accepted.
